Jesus in his humanity was not God and man, but the God-Man. He is God in human flesh, two natures are bound together in such a way that the two become one...

IV. The Death of Jesus Christ

Many of these eye witnesses died martyrs' deaths because they preached the resurrection of Jesus Christ. They were glad to die for a living Christ. They had the "infallible proofs."
The disciples "forsook Him and fled" Matt. 26:56...lived in fear...John 20:9. After the resurrection - they saw, Him, touched Him, and ate with Him...and they were ready to testify and die for their knowing the Truth...He was risen from the dead!!!
Circumstantial evidence:
The change in their lives...from fear to unlimited courage. Acts 5:40-42, Hebrews 11:35.
Worship on the first day of the week – the day of the resurrection! Acts 10:7
For Christians, every day is Easter.
