I Thessalonians 5:1-11
Believers are to live faithfully and expectantly in anticipation of Christ's return. Do you look forward to the Lord's coming?!! Prophecy of the date of His return is bogus...no one knows, but we can observe the signs of His coming. We should live in an attitude of His imminent coming.
The wheat and the tares...some might be shocked at who will be taken and who will not be taken. Don't get caught up in the doctrine of the last days as much as the application of His coming. It is not WHAT we know but that what we know is accurate (according to His Word) and we see our personal application in it!
We should love one another and protect ourselves from "backbiting, criticism" and major on encouragement of one another.
"So then, we must not sleep, like the rest, but we much stay awake and be sober!"
"Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober."
I Thess. 1:4 and 6
