BLESSED! a personal word....

Sunday morning is always a welcome day for me. I enjoy getting up a little earlier than normal and getting dressed to attend Sunday School. It may seem like a sacrifice to someone who watches my life..."after all, you are older and deserve a time to be more relaxed and 'laid back'" (they say). I view it so differently. I feel joy in my heart that the Lord has given me the honor of teaching. The calling is so real and so pressing. The urgency of the times is so evident to me. I am puzzled that this attitude does not permeate the local body of believers. So much opportunity and so many choices to learn, to study, to fellowship with fellow believers, to hear a fabulous preacher and to have someone open the Word with you. We are in a RICH Christian land of knowledge with starving souls of poverty all about us!!! Many believers are very poor and spiritually unhealthy - they don't know it because they are choosing not to eat the healthy food of the Word!

Wes and I know what a privilege we have to be your S.S. teachers. My heart longs for our class to grow and bring in others, but I never fail to realize what an honor it is to have the treasure of each of you!!!!

IF you are not attending Sunday School regularly, I challenge you to set it as a priority. I feel the urgency of time and I am praying that the Lord will burden all born agains to feel that urgency. Time is flying and we cannot count on tomorrows. We must be about living out His life today.
