Barry shared a wonderful testimony about his time in Haiti - the Lord's faithfulness - all kinds of ways they experienced the hand of God and knew that prayers were sustaining them and situations. Very powerful!!

Jeff then went into a real short version of the lesson and opened up the class to a great discussion from Exodus. Walked away with these thoughts: we shouldn't be asking God - why me, but why not me? Walked away with the thought that we really need to examine our lives - in the times of suffering we draw close and then in times of prosperity we seem to push our Lord further down the priority list.
