Jacob lied to Isaac...his sons lied to him
David committed adultery, murder...daughter raped, 2 sons killed
Haman built gallows for Mordecai...he was hanged
Pharoah killed/drowned Israeli children...God drowned Egyptians
Egyptiansand Israelites viewed 1st bortn as special...however, Egyptians viewed them as sacred!
The 1st born can represent humanity's very best, but very best isn't good enough for a holy God.

Some claim to admire Jesus but they refuse the blood of Jesus...Heb. 9:22
The lamb was chosen and examined - Our Lamb of God was chosen and His life was examined. In Rev. Jesus is called the Lamb 28 times. He died our death and suffered judgment Isa. 53:4-6 I Peter 2:24
He paid it ALL but we must individually - just as each family had to obey by placing the blood on the doorposts and lintel...completely covered!!!! -

HE IS THE WAY...Gal. 2:20, Exo 12:13 John 20:28, and when we touch Him, we will respond as Thomas, "My Lord, my God!"
It is not faith in faith...not "prayer works". It is faith IN Him and prayer to Him!
The lamb was kept whole in preparation - roasted..."no bones broken"...see the wholeness of our Lamb! As the lamb was their nourishment, the Lamb of God is to be our nourishment. "The Word was made flesh!"
Bitter herbs: bondage, suffering, working, stress
Unleavened bread: no yeast...their travel did not allow time to rise, but primarily yeast is the symbol of impurity. (sin) hidden, works silently and secretly, spreads and pollutes and causes dath to rise. Puffed up - Pride! I Cor. 4:18 - 5:2
